About Randall Cooper

Hey, I’m Randall Cooper  👋

I’m the person who will absolutely make you wait five extra minutes in the blazing heat because “the light is this close to being perfect.” Sorry not sorry.

I started chasing landscapes this year 2026 with the purchase of a Canon 800D, and somewhere working a fulltime and getting mosquito-bitten to oblivion for a sunset shot, I fell completely in love with it.

This blog is basically my excuse to share the wild places I end up — Beaufort and Charlston getting Sunsets and Sunrise photographs— along with the mishaps, gear opinions, and questionable life choices that come with chasing good light for a living (or a very committed hobby).

A few things about me:
📍 Based in South Carolina
⛰️ Favorite subject: coastlines, Woods, Architectural, Animals, Marshland
📸 Currently obsessed with 55-200MM Macro Lense
☕ Fueled by: coffee, stubbornness, and the love for great photos.

I’m here to share the photos, the process, and the honest truth about how many times I fell in a river to get “the shot.” Stick around — there’s more where that came from.
