The Start of the Journey

This is the first post of the new Randall-Cooper.com for me. I wanted to build something where I could showcase my photographs but yet write when I wanted to. Sometimes about the photograph, sometimes about the adventure, sometimes about anything that might be on my mind.

As you can tell from browsing and reading a little, I am new to photography. My love for taking pictures has been forever or as far as I can remember. I have always taken pictures of sunrises and sunsets that are pretty. Back in late May/early June I met a co-worker that has a Canon R50 he uses for his photography. He mainly takes pictures of cars and stunts bikes. I wanted something similar to what he has so I started researching. After about 2 weeks of reading and researching and deciding my budget for a used camera that I could get and see If I even liked doing this as a hobby.

I settled on finding a t7i from Canon. They were hard to come by in my area and I found one that was out of my budget. I ended up searching more and found a Nikon D5600 I was about to purchase. Between the time I found the Nikon and the time I was able to be home to buy it. I found Canon 800D about 2 hours away for alittle more then the Canon. So, I loaded up the Family and we drove to pick it up. All photos are taken on that unless I do a quick shop on my iPhone 17.

That brings you up to this point at the moment and I will be writing more about the 800D soon. I purchased it with 3 lens for $450. 18-55, 55-200, 24 lens came with the Camera plus all the extras.
